Let us know why you became a DJ, what is it about being a DJ that made you decide this is what you want to do with your life!

For me the journey began inside a second language room at Elm Place Middle School, as my english teacher left us for a small break and she let us play on the turntable she had to use for the language records she was having us go over.  I came to this country in 1987 and I came here from South America, Venezuela to be exact and I have always been surounded by rythm and music, and records and turntables always had a kind of intrigue for me.  So on this particular day I decided to start messing with the records and I started scratching it back and forth as the teacher came in with her face of horror screaming for me to not do that it's going to ruin the record.  Flash forward 10 years and in early 1997 I had my first true and tried time with a pair of gemini turntables, if your a DJ well you know then that this is as close to a hoopty set up if there is a better term to describe this.  I made the best of my first time experience and I began my journey into electronic music.  The first style that hit me right away was Drum & Bass I loved playing jungle records and listening to the fast beats of those drums and the deep bass drops that could knock your teeth out.  But soon enough I came across the House music sound that took over my whole life and being, til this day 12 years later I listen to house every day, I live, eat, and breath House music.  So this is the brief to the point version of why I became a DJ and why I am stil to this day doing this for the love of the music.
